Merry Christmas from Vilnius!

2020 December 25

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord;
my spirit rejoices in God my savior.
Luke 1, 47

As we celebrate the birth of Christ this year, the Mother of God is shining for us like a Beacon of Hope. Whatever the circumstances, she puts all her hope in the Lord and teaches us to trust in God who loves us and who cares about our troubles and joys.

Mary also helps us to understand that joy is a state of the soul: whatever happens, God is with us, He is still sending the Holy Spirit to comfort us, to strengthen and to give us joy.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and the peace of Christ throughout the New Year!
